NRU RECREATION PROGRAM

The NRU recreation program offers youth soccer to all ages, U5 thru U18.  Serving over 600 kids per season from the greater New River Valley region, the program functions successfully thanks to the efforts of over 80 volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, age group coordinators, and team parents.

Rec teams practice once a week, and have one game on the weekend, which is normally on Saturdays. Our U5/6 age groups are on Friday Nights, where they practice for 30 minutes, then play a game for 30 minutes.
