Zone 2 refers to our U13 - U19 Competitive Travel Soccer teams that offer the highest quality training experiences for players aspiring to play at the next level.

At Zone 2, here are our primary objectives:

• Provide players a highly competitive yet encouraging & positive environment for next level soccer. Our Nationally Licensed coaching staff ensures that players feel safe to explore and feel comfortable making mistakes or trying new things while receiving high quality feedback.
• Develop technically superior players that are fast and creative game changes with our ball mastery curriculum. Our coaches encourage creative, thinking players on and off the ball.
• Train players to solve problems under pressure and challenge them to think about their situation in new ways by developing their Soccer IQ.
• Introducing individual and group tactics aligned with NRU's Game Model & Systems of Play. Our club's new curriculum combines the best training methodologies and tactical theory from around the globe and brings everything you need to the NRV.
• A shifted focus to teaching our student-athletes how to train to compete in a high performance environment to prepare them for the highest levels of play. We focus on improving the quality of the soccer by aligning with our Style of Play and believe success is a byproduct of deliberate training.
• For our High School ages, NRU offers unparalleled College Recruiting support that is with you through each step of the process from start to finish. Tryouts Dates for the 2026-27 Seasons beginning the first week of August:

Please Note: All players must tryout within their new age group. We will not be taking play up requests before Tryouts. Any and all play up decisions will be made at the discretion of the Technical Director if it is deemed in the best interest for a player's development.

U16-U19 Boys & Girls Tryouts

Date: March 21st (Saturday)

• Inclement Weather Date: March 22nd (Sunday)

Boys:  12:00 - 1:45 PM

• Registration & Check In for all Boys players: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Girls: 2:00 - 3:45 PM

• Registration & Check In for all players: 1:30-2:00pm

• Girls: 5:15 – 6:45 PM
• Boys: 7:00 – 8:30 PM

2nd Tryout Date:  April 19  (Sunday)

• Girls: 2:00 – 3:15 PM
• Boys: 3:30 – 4:45 PM
